Shrek Wednesday night, very entertaining
Great show! The set and lighting worked very well and the special effects were top notch. All in all, I'd have to say the ensemble numbers stood out for me. The actors/dancers worked their tails off! (And some really had tails.) This was a delightful show and I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone who's thinking about going, not think twice....just get a ticket(s) and enjoy the performance.
The only dampener; the theater became quit stuffy and hot in the 2nd act. I was anxious for the show to end so I could get out to the cool, fresh air. This is the 2nd time in a row the theater's climate control has done a miserable job. (Previous time was this summer's "Oliver".) I expect more from a professional venue.
